 As our Fabricator I you are involved in the fabrication of event activation, trade show, museum, and special event properties. You use your entry level skills as a Finish Carpenter, Welder, Painter, Cabinet Builder, or Display Builder to meet high quality standards and ever-changing unique fabrication challenges.

 

To thrive in this role you have an entry level understanding of finish carpentry, cabinetry, metal, welding, and painting with a basic understanding of math and measurements. This role includes domestic travel to supervise the installation and dismantle of display properties and events with a team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Skills. You have basic knowledge of math and measurements, some hands on experience in fabrication, and most importantly, are willing to learn new skills. This is key as you’ll be measuring, cutting or shaping wood, plastic or other materials; following written and verbal instructions, laying out and assembling wood components, and attach parts of subassemblies together to form complete units using glue, dowels, nails, screws and/or clamps, etc.
  • Learning. You are willing to learn the multiple trades in our industry, metal fabrication, carpentry, paint, and CNC operation. You also have the ability to comprehend and understand drawings, blueprints, and diagrams overtime.
  • Safety. You have the ability to safely operate industrial machinery while being willing to learn all shop equipment and safety practices; table saws, routers, laminating, etc.
  • Fast-Paced. You can multi-task, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while keeping great attention to detail. This is important when we have project work coming from multiple clients at a time and need this to succeed.
  • Travel. You are open to domestic work-related travel for up to 20% of this role. This would be necessary when we need a small team to supervise the installation and dismantle of display properties and events.

The annual range for this role varies between $36,000 – $43,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
