    The Account Supervisor, Events & Hospitality is responsible for the strategy and execution of all customer engagement events and global hospitality programs for a GMR client in the B2B technology sector.  These VIP events are often associated with their many sports and entertainment partnerships, so knowledge of the industry is preferred.  Responsibilities also include oversight and management of events team members.  This role reports to the Senior Director, Client Consulting & Services. 



    ·       Oversee multiple C-Level VIP global customer hospitality programs per year

    ·       Develop and implement strategy for customer engagement and VIP hospitality events

    ·       Research & define customer engagement program recommendations

    ·       Liaise between client property managers, other client agencies, GMR offices, and partners

    ·       Develop internal & external communications material

    ·       Oversee on-site management, supervision, and coordination of events:

    ·       Ultimate responsibility of all marquee customer engagement event execution

    ·       Implement a structured and consistent execution process of all programs

    ·       Source and manage internal & external vendors

    ·       Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training field staff

    ·       Monitor program progress and recommend adjustments as necessary

    ·       Prepare and execute retainer and project SOW’s

    ·       Develop and manage retainer and project budgets: including forecasts and reconciliation

    ·       Provide proactive leadership, training and coaching to all team members

    ·       Demonstrate examples of leadership in all written, verbal and in person communication

    ·       Demonstrate a collaborative “team player” attitude in all aspects of the role

    ·       Manage staffing schedules and calendars

    ·       Excellent time-management, organizational, communications and management skills

    ·       Proven problem-solving skills, ability to perform independently

    ·       Ability to develop and express creative ideas

    ·       Ability to travel globally (25%); travel varies by program and will include weekends

    ·       Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    ·       Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail



    ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related marketing background/experience

    ·       5 - 7 years of relatable experience required: Event Marketing and/or VIP Hospitality

    ·       Experience leading a team essential

    ·       Experience managing a fast-paced multi-national client

    ·       Experience in sports and entertainment industry a plus

    ·       Technology industry experience or B2B experience a plus
