    WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB //

    Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Executive holds ultimate responsibility of all hospitality and event programming for a GMR San Francisco clients with a focus in sports and entertainment. The role includes development, execution, evaluation, and management of a variety of global & domestic client hospitality programs. 

     

    YOUR IMPACT //

      • Research and define customer engagement program recommendations
      • Manage multiple global & domestic customer hosptiality and event management programs
      • Act as liaison for client property managers, other client agencies, GMR offices, partners and vendors
      • Develop internal and external communications material
      • Manage, train and supervise internal support team and field staff
      • Integrate business messaging to achieve marketing objectives
      • Ensure flawless event execution
    • Implement a structured, consistent and efficient execution process across all programs
    • Monitor program progress and evaluate event successes and areas of improvement
    • Develop and manage program budgets: forecasts, accruals and final spend reconciliation
    • Create strategic documents for client presentations
    • Prepare client contracts
    • Maintain daily written and verbal communications with clients
    • General account maintenance
    • Assist with program account assignments and structures for new business
    • Make company presentations to potential clients and product-specific presentations to both potential and existing clients

     

    YOUR EXPERIENCE //

     

    • Excellent time-management, organizational, communications and management skills
    • Demonstrable problem-solving skills, ability to perform independently regarding account/team management
    • Experience in both B2C and B2B Events & Hospitality Management, ideally in sports/entertainment/music field
    • Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to assist on other programs as needed or requested
    • Adaptability to manage multiple clients, vendors, manufacturers both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to develop and express creative ideas
    • Ability to travel; travel varies by program and may include weekends
    • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Educational and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, or related marketing background/experience
    • Five years’ experience in event coordination, planning or onsite execution
    • Event Marketing experience highly desirable
    • Knowledge of sports and entertainment industry a plus
