    The Creative Director is responsible for leading all phases of the creative process related to client programs and corporate marketing initiatives. The CD uses their expertise to decide the strategic and creative direction of proposals, while directing the activity of subordinates. They'll work closely with Business Development, Planning, and Account Services to formulate innovative solutions and drive profitability. Approximate responsibilities include 50% strategic project planning and creative execution, 30% client relationship building and account growth, and 20% agency leadership on internal initiatives and driving business growth.

    YOUR IMPACT //

     

    Strategic Participation

    ·       Oversee creative consultations with account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations

    ·       Ensure sound and effective program development through strategic planning

    ·       Present and effectively communicate how a creative solution will achieve goals

    ·       With SVP Account Services' guidance, review program results, extrapolate key learnings and recommend strategic revisions

    ·       Work with senior leadership in establishing agency as a key partner in client's business

    ·       Demonstrate a strong understanding of both agency's and client's business objectives

    ·       Stay current on new technologies and new industry trends

     

    Agency Leadership

    ·       Provide leadership and convey the vision and values of the agency

    ·       Assures the staff adheres to established agency policy and procedures

    ·       Recommend staffing and compensation changes

    ·       Facilitates and promotes corporate initiatives

    ·       Cooperate with the department heads to resolve conflicts and inspire staff

    ·       Trains and supervises assigned staff of design, production and traffic personnel; oversees the execution of all creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, budget, and schedule

     

    YOUR EXPERIENCE //

    ·       5-7 years’ experience in creative processes or similar experience

    ·       Demonstrates a thorough understanding of marketing principles, exhibit design, and copywriting

    ·       Detail oriented and well organized

    ·       Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines

    ·       Strong leadership skills

    ·       Knowledge of industry-standard design software

    ·       Minimum B.S/B.A or similar experience
