    GMR Marketing currently supports Comcast, a Fortune 500 company, with a variety of marketing efforts including; Sponsorship Strategy & Activation (Sports, NASCAR, entertainment, gaming), Divisional Marketing, Sponsorship Creative, Business Services and University Marketing. Reporting to Senior Director of Creative Integration, the primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the activation of Comcast’s regional sports sponsorships. Within assigned territory(s) this role will work with Region clients, Brand clients and team representatives to develop digital media, in-stadium signage, social campaigns, and create best-in-class consumer engagements.

     

    WHO YOU ARE //

     

    • You are on top of things.  Managed daily sponsorship creative deliverables on time and hold stakeholders accountable to key project milestones.
    • You are collaborative. Lead daily meetings intended to brief project managers, creative director, art director and copywriter on creative projects.
    • You are proactive. Anticipate feedback from various client contacts and team members by creating status documents, program overviews and concise communications.
    • You are a valued partner. Act as subject matter expert on clients brand design, brand messaging and share those details to team members on an ongoing basis.
    • You are engaged. Create and maintain administrative documents for client reports and presentations including meetings recaps, reporting, agendas, and timelines
    • You are budget conscious. Oversee program estimating, budget routing, reconciliation and client communication regarding agreed upon financial milestones.
    • You are innovative. Research and analyze trends/innovations in sports, technology and apply the insights to clients work on a daily basis.

    WHAT WE NEED //

     

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
    • Minimum 3-4 years related experience in sports or event marketing
    • Demonstrated experience leading local/regional marketing programs for national brands.
    • Strong knowledge of brand marketing and previous advertising or creative development experience
    • Experience in social media marketing, including understanding of social media networks and related platforms
    • Strong ability to collaborate with a team to multi-task
    • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
    • Passion to work on a team of highly motivated individuals and in an environment where you can be proactive
    • Leadership skills with very high initiative and work ethic
    • Command of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
    • Willingness to work on days and times outside the normal work week when needed
