GMR Marketing currently supports Comcast with a variety of marketing efforts including; Corporate Sports Strategy & Activation, University/Segment Marketing, Business Services, Sports Sponsorship Creative and NASCAR Strategy & Activation. This position would focus on Segment marketing within the Comcast University team.

Reporting to the Account Director of Client Consulting + Services, the primary responsibility for this role is to manage and support all Comcast University/Segment marketing initiatives including but not limited to development of a seasonal acquisition campaign, execution of a high volume of mid-tier event activations and management of large-scale promotional executions throughout the year. This position would be based at the GMR headquarters in New Berlin, WI.

  • You are an innovative thinker. Support the VP and Account Director with development of University/Segment marketing strategy, platform thematic and and tactical plan
  • You are creative. Research and present opportunities targeting key demographic which will help drive program objectives forward
  • You are a team player. Collaborate with other GMR Comcast Account Teams to identify opportunities and drive efficiencies
  • You are analytical. Assist Account Director with implementation of measurement and research plan to ensure appropriate metrics are in place to allow for proper program analysis
  • You are detailed. Development, management and reconciliation of all executional budgets
  • You are a strong communicator. Maintain daily written and verbal communications with multiple clients as well as lead weekly status conference call with core client group
  • You are organized. Oversee program timeline while ensuring deliverables are met and/or make client, account team and internal support groups aware of overdue deliverables
  • You are a strong leader. Oversee, manage and develop a team of enthusiastic young marketers
  • You are collaborative. Coordinate and lead all internal support groups associated with various programs (Creative, Digital, Social, Staffing, Logistics, Production, etc.)
  • You love activating at events. Assist with on-site management, supervision, and coordination of event activations
  • You are tactical. Regularly monitor program progress and recommend adjustments as necessary
  • You see the big picture. Compile, develop and present program post mortem reports in a timely manner
  • You are curious. Continuously enhance knowledge of current trends, interests and innovations amongst key demographic
  • You are thoughtful. Identify, problem-solve and consult with senior management regarding program challenges

WHAT WE NEED //

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field required
  • 5-7 years of industry experience, event and experiential marketing experience required
  • Ability to successfully build client relationships and manage multiple client contacts and projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and management skills
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills, ability to perform independently regarding account/team management
  • Strong presentation skills to varied audiences
  • Ability to develop and express creative ideas
  • Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to assist on other programs as needed or requested
  • Ability to travel; travel varies by program and may include weekends
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
