We are looking for an energetic team player to join the GMR Staffing department. The Recruiter will work closely with in a dynamic team to attract, interview and hire candidates who want to work for GMR at marketing events throughout the US and Canada. This position is associate level and best suited for a dynamic, driven individual who excels in recruiting high-volume, top talent. In addition to invaluable experience, the position offers a competitive salary plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities

  • You are a talented recruiter. Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calling, recruiting firms and employee referrals
  • You are creative. Develop and revise interview guides to satisfy the requirements and objectives of the position
  • You are detailed. Review employment applications and job orders and select the most qualified candidates to interview
  • You are a people person. Conduct interviews of the most qualified candidates and identify top 1-3 candidates, matching their qualifications with employers’ needs; recording and evaluating applicant experience, education, training and skills
  • You are a valued partner. Prepare and make hiring recommendations to hiring managers in the organization
  • You are friendly. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
  • You are an advisor. Work with GMR Staffing clients to determine staffing needs, assist in determining staffing budget and updating client on staffing process
  • You are tech-savvy. Link candidates to appropriate job order in the applicant tracking system (Bullhorn)
  • You are welcoming. Prepare, extend, and negotiate offer of employment
  • You are proactive. Conduct confirmation calls and check-in calls with field staff
  • You are a project manager. Work with Staffing Coordinators to ensure that all staff have completed new hire paperwork and pre-employment requirements prior to working

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 1-2 years of staffing/hiring experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel along with a variety of software programs
  • Online & offline sourcing experience utilizing job boards, Boolean Queries’ and networking preferred
  • Proactively research staffing solutions and generate new ideas to implement efficiencies
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time with little supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, field employees and clients
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude, while thinking of creative problem solving techniques
