Overview

The Account Coordinator assists the Logistics team in support of tobacco client engagement marketing programs and events. Provides consistent, efficient, and high quality web-based database tracking and reconciliation services, and assists with inventory management, distribution, and operational support for multi-team national marketing programs

Responsibilities

  • Have a primary focus on inventory management, logistics, operations and client service for assigned programs
  • Perform data management and auditing functions in a web-based inventory system for all program materials and incentives
  • Assist in maintaining control of all program materials, incentive items and assets, including, but not limited to, warehouse and 3rd party shipments, distribution, and documentation through a web-based inventory system, spreadsheets, and reconciliation
  • Assist as needed with physical movement of inventory at the GMR Warehouse, shipping, and receiving of inventory
  • Submit comprehensive assigned weekly and monthly summary reports to relevant GMR staff
  • Organize and keep track of deliverables, deadlines, and timelines for daily, weekly, and ongoing projects
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with cross-functional groups within GMR
  • Recommend and assist in implementation of new processes that enhance operational and logistic programming
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all client programs and procedures
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality for all pertinent business meeting and functions
  • Promote company goodwill in all areas to maintain the positive image of the client and GMR
  • Know, understand, and adhere to all GMR and client company policies and procedures
  • Provide night and weekend technical support (one week per month or as needed) by taking ownership of a dedicated on-call phone and facilitating solutions to field team members
  • About 10-15% travel as needed to various markets for support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and/or supply chain management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Business or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and analysis, compliance, and logistics 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adeptly communicate with in-market field personnel
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using a variety of software with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory management programs
  • Ability to effectively support program field staff with regard to inventory management and logistics
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and organize complex details of multiple programs with excellent time-management skills
  • Professional and articulate composition and communication skills
